Description
The 2012 Energy State of the Nation Forum will be held in Sydney on 23 March 2012. This event is presented by Energy Policy Institute of Australia (formerly Energy Alliance of Australia).
Aligning energy policy, technology development and financing - Has technology outrun policy? Or has policy outrun technology?
Whatever the question, the need for alignment between energy policy goals, climate policy goals, technology pathways and financing requirements jumps out at Australia.
ESON 2012 brings together Australian and international experts to provide input on the most vexing policy problem that Australia has ever had to confront – how are conflicting energy and climate policy goals and aspirations to be aligned with the realities of legacy energy technologies and systems and the scale of investment required to bring about change?
ESON 2012 will also debate the Australian Government’s Energy White Paper.
Keynote Speaker: The Hon Martin Ferguson AM, M, Minister for Resources and Energy

“We could not have made a better choice. We found The Meetings Manager an excellent organisation and a pleasure to work with; they were efficient, thorough, thoughtful and prompt in responding to queries and requests for information, and they used their initiative to our advantage on many occasions. We would recommend without reservation, The Meetings Manager as a conference organiser”.
